So in a previous post I stated how everyone in Rhode Island is connected somehow. This wedding was no different. Meet the bride Jen and the Groom Thomas. I was 16 when I first met Jen. Jen and I worked at Stop and Shop together. Now Jen also has a brother named Ken who also worked with us at Stop and Shop. Now to make this even more of a Rhode Island story, when I was an assistant manager at Stop and Shop Jens sister worked for me. Ahhhh gotta love Rhode Island.
The wedding took place at Laurel Lance Country Club in West Kingston Rhode Island. It was a hot summer day 95 degrees to be exact. The wind was active and the humidity actually wasn’t that bad considering we live in Rhode Island. It was a great day for a wedding.
When I was 16 I had no idea that was going to be a wedding photographer let alone shoot Jens wedding. So as I was shooting the wedding. I couldn’t help think how everything happens for a reason. Who you meet, what you do. Everything you do even the small things have a purpose. You may never know what the meaning was or if you do it may take years to figure out.
For the formals we did a little golf these considering we were on a gold course. It was wicked fun! What I’m trying to do with my weddings this year is truly think out side the box and really be creative. Jen and Thomas were great to shoot with. They were so animated and so fun.
Here’s to Jen and Thomas. May your marriage be filled with laughter tears ups and downs. But through it all may it circle back to love.
