Today i had the chance to photograph the beautiful Joanna. I have known Joanna for a couple of years but because of schedules and other things that got in the way we were never able to connect. I'll tell you one thing it was worth the wait. Let me back up a couple of steps and describe a couple of things about the day because today was very interesting.
Me and Brad arrived at the location at 3pm and met Shauna ( the hair and makeup artist) and Joanna ( the model). Now there are times when you are on location when there are no electrical outlets available. Same with this case there was no outlet. So we had to use a converter and attached it to my car so the stylist could use her curling iron and other machines. It was kind of funny to look at. There we were on location, a hair dresser styling Joanna's hair on the sidewalk next to a running car. it was a sight to be seen, While all this was happening Brad and I were setting up the lights and going through the game plan for the shoot.
We started shooting at 3:45. It was a quick shoot because Joanna was a pro. She just worked it. she knew what she was doing. Also the sun and the sky was perfect. It was as if God saved the best day of the past 2 weeks for us. We had 4 or 5 funny moments today .There we were shooting and some car would come by blasting rap music. Then one car stopped and a girl got out and just started dancing in the middle of the road. Then she would scream, thats my favorite joint turn it up, and go back to dancing. It was a sight to be seen,
We ended the shoot at 4:45. it was a quick shoot considering that most shoots last 3-4 hours. This shoot was fun and easy. It was refreshing to get back outside and shoot. Thanks Joanna and Shauna. You made this shoot excellent!
