Jonas CD shoot ( Transparent)

So I had a major shoot the other day. This was for a CD cover for an artist. His name is Jonas, you gotta check him out. Jonas has toured with Casting Crowns, Michael W Smith,  Jars of Clay, Audio Adrenaline,  and Petra. He has also shared the stage with the famous John Mayer. Jonas is the man!

 I've known Jonas for a few months. Jonas is the kind of artist a photographer just loves to shoot, for a couple reasons. For one he is no pre maddona. He's willing to try new things. He doesn't press you for time. He is just relaxed through the whole shoot. He is there to have fun.

 Jonas is a Christian artist. He puts on the best worship service I have ever seen. I attended one in the past and I left there just in awe. Jonas calls himself a minister as well as an artist. I admire this. He feels like his lyrics point to Christ and he is saying something specific about Christ in his music that he wants people to remember  when they leave his concert.

The shoot was a night shoot. It was fun. We laughed, we joked, and we made some magic happen in that box.  The CD cover is just a chair.  In the middle of the CD there is going to be just a pile of guitars, and the back of the CD is just him in the chair. Simple but Awesome.
